B. Special casting can be divided into special casting with natural mineral sandstone as the main modeling material (such as investment casting, mud casting, shell casting, negative pressure casting, solid casting, ceramic casting, etc.) ), Special casting with metal as the main mold material (such as metal casting, pressure casting, continuous casting, low-pressure casting, centrifugal casting, etc.) two types.

Use a metal with a higher melting point than the raw material to make a mold. Among them are subdivided into the gravity casting method (gravity casting machine), low-pressure casting method (low pressure casting machine) and high-pressure casting method. Due to the melting point of the casting mold, the metals that can be cast are limited.
2. Dewaxing casting method
This method can be an outer film casting method and a solid casting method.
First use wax to replicate the casting object, and then immerse it in the ceramic (or silica sol) containing a pool and dry it, so that the wax replica is covered with a ceramic outer film, and the steps are repeated until the outer film is enough to support casting Process (about 1/4 inch to 1/8 inch), then melt the wax in the mold and pull it away from the mold. After that, the mold needs to be heated to high temperatures many times, and it can be used for casting after the hardness is increased.
This method has good accuracy and can be used for casting high melting point metals (such as titanium). However, because the price of ceramics is quite high, and the production requires multiple heating and complexity, the cost is quite expensive.
1. Gravity casting: sand casting, hard mold casting. The molten metal is poured into the cavity by the gravity of the metal itself.
2. Pressure casting: low-pressure casting, high-pressure casting. Rely on the additional pressure to press the molten metal into the casting cavity instantly.
